Clus Skipa Hope
Clus Skipa Hope is a 2007, registered chestnut Quarter Horse. He stands 16 hands and weighs approximately 1,200 LBS. He is by the first Million-Dollar Halter Sire, Kid Coolsified, and out of our mare, the late Shamarra Rio Redd. Erin Lane nicknamed him "Bear" for his sweet and cuddly demeanor.
Bear's stud fee is $500. Bear is six panel negative (5-panel by UC Davis testing, OLWS by parentage) and approved for the American Paint Horse Association Stud Book. Special considerations are given to point or money earning mares, point or money producing mares, APHA registered mares, and returning customers.
After watching his full-brother's success in the halter ring, Erin decided to fit and show Bear in Aged Stallions. Shortly after arriving at their fourth show together, Erin noticed a lump on his left hind leg; he had developed a pocket of fluid in his tendon sheath and was scratched from the class. While he's healed from the injury, he now has a permanent blemish and can no longer compete as a halter horse. Erin has been training him under-saddle and plans to show him during the 2020 season.
As of February 2019, Bear has only sired six registered Quarter Horses, with three more due in late-spring 2019. He stamps his foals with a gorgeous head, a strong croup, and intelligent minds. Two of his foals, Kids Rockstar Hope & Cool Fools Last Hope, are currently in training with Erin.
